Trailblazers: Skiing Fun for the Next Generation
Our Trailblazers Ski Course is designed to give young skiers a head start before they hit the slopes. Whether your child is completely new to skiing or has already taken a few runs, Trailblazers offers a fun and supportive environment where they can learn, grow and build confidence over an engaging three-hour session.

By the end of Level One, your child will be able to:
Learn to carry their equipment safely to and from the starting point.
Master putting on and taking off their gear with a focus on safety.
Move confidently on a flat slope, showing good balance and awareness of others around them.
Climb up a slope using the side step technique, without slipping back.
Safely control their speed using a snowplough, always mindful of other slope users.
Adjust the size of their snowplough to come to a smooth, natural stop.
Execute controlled snowplough turns at a steady, slow pace.
Complete at least three controlled turns as they descend the slope.
Properly ride the nursery slope lift with confidence.
Level 2: Advancing Your Child's Skills
By the end of Level Two, your child will be able to:
Master a strong snowplough at higher speeds with solid edge control.
Traverse the slope in parallel, applying the right pressure on the downhill ski.
Finish with a clean parallel stop across the slope.
Blend plough-parallel turns, starting in a snowplough and ending in parallel.
Execute a smooth sideslip while keeping skis aligned.
Turn effectively with a solid pole plant, maintaining good posture.
Keep consistent contact between their shins and boots.
