A whole day of Christmas at The Oakwood
We are bringing together our Christmas Market and Ski Race Day for a fun-filled day for all the family. Whether you are coming to cheer on the racers, pick up some Christmas gifts, enjoy a festive meal or just soak up the atmosphere, there is something for everyone.
Christmas Market
From 11:00am, our Christmas Market will bring plenty of festive atmosphere, with a selection of local vendors and makers offering a range of goods, from clothing and kids' toys to crochet and photography services.
The market is free to enter, and you are welcome to come along at any point during the day. It is the perfect opportunity to shop local and pick up some unique Christmas gifts, while enjoying a festive day out.
You can also enjoy Christmas specials in our restaurant alongside mulled wine and other Christmas classics.

Ski Race Day
The racing gets underway at 11:00am and will run until approximately 4:30pm.
Young skiers will take to the slopes for individual timed runs on a slalom course, racing against the clock to achieve their fastest time. With 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes in each category, there is plenty to race for.
Whether they are a seasoned racer or having their first go at competing, it is a brilliant opportunity for young skiers to challenge themselves, enjoy some friendly competition and experience the excitement of race day.

The market is free and open to all, no booking needed. Race entries are not open yet, details coming soon.
