Introducing Georgia: Our New Yoga Instructor at The Oakwood!

We’re thrilled to welcome Georgia, our new yoga instructor, to The Oakwood community! Starting in the new year, Georgia will bring her expertise and passion to offer two distinct yoga styles that are sure to inspire, rejuvenate and support your wellness journey.

About Georgia
Georgia is trained in a variety of yoga styles, specialising in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Her teaching approach goes beyond just the physical postures—she draws inspiration from the deeper wisdom of the yoga sutras and seeks to create a welcoming, inclusive space where members can explore their practice and discover their inner light.

New Class Schedule
Starting in the new year, you can join Georgia for her weekly classes every Monday at The Lodge:

  • Vinyasa Yoga: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Yin Yoga: 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm

What to Expect

  • Vinyasa Yoga: A dynamic flow where each movement is linked to the breath. This class will warm you up, guide you through sun salutations and sequences and work towards a peak pose to build strength and flexibility.
  • Yin Yoga: A meditative, mat-based practice focusing on deep connective tissues. Postures are held for 3 minutes or longer, allowing for deep release and relaxation. Yin is not only physically beneficial but also deeply calming for the mind.
